Drawing disappear? try 'RECOVER'

I got this file from my friend, he said when he opened it, all content gone. nothing can be seen.

 Like this.

The key to solve this is "recover"

1. open autocad

2. command "recover" enter

3. choose the corrupt file in prompt window,then click open.

4. Here you go, you got them all back.

HOW TO CREATE AUTO UPDATED DATA SHEET IN AUTOCAD BASE ON EXISTING EXCEL FILE

First thing you have to do is insert a data link and give it a name, we say 1 here.

then, click OK.

then browse to the excel file which you want link to.

Now, we can choose link entire sheet or link to range, then click OK

then, we go to insert table

Insert options: Choose from data link '1' which we created earlier, then click OK.

Then just click on somewhere in you work space, there it is.

Now, we always can choose from right click to update these data with the excel file. :-)
